FAFSA/WASFA DROP-IN SUPPORT

College Goal Washington is a free, on-site program that helps students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA), the forms required to apply for financial assistance for postsecondary education. College Goal Washington events take place annually throughout October and November at numerous locations across Washington State. Students receive step-by-step instructions for successfully completing and submitting their FAFSA or WASFA.

Cascadia College drop-in sessions are open to anyone (senior in high school or current college student) who would like assistance with the FAFSA or WASFA application. You do not need to sign up to attend the drop-in session. What students will need:

What student will need:

  • driver's license or state ID.
  • income information. This includes bank statements, a W-2 or pay stub, and a past tax return.
  • parent, if you are 24 or younger.
  • parents' financial information. Parents should bring a copy of their previous year's tax return.
  • Additional financial information such as child support statements, TANF or welfare information, real estate, investments, family business or farm info.

FAFSA FILERS MUST ALSO BRING:

  • Social Security Card or green card.
  • One parent's Social Security Number (if they have one).
