As we move into December, many of our families are buying wrapping paper for all the gifts they will be giving this year. Unfortunately, wrapping paper you find in card shops and supermarkets is often crafted from low-quality fibers coated in plastic, dyed, or decorated with glitter. All of which renders it un-recyclable.

Why not try out a different, kinder type of wrapping paper this year? How about dressing up traditional brown paper with some ribbon and maybe some pieces of fir from the trees? When the present is unwrapped, the ribbon can be saved, and the brown paper and the fir can go in the compost.
